Best time is always around sunset or sunrise! Usually about 2-3 hours before sunset gets you full sun, as 2.5 hours after sunrise can give you softer sunlight look.

Totally ok! If it's your first time I can walk you guys through everything. I like to think my sessions as more of a "hang out" rather than a serious photo session. You guys are meant to have a good time as a family, a party or with your significant other!
